about

On the evening of September 10th 2001, I started writing this piece of music and stayed up until 3 or 4 in the morning of September 11th completing it.

As I was working on the composition, playing each note and mixing it quietly into what would become it's final form, my future wife lay sleeping fitfully 10 feet away— having nightmares about horrible things.

She told me when she woke up, and before we had turned on the television that she had a dream about being given the choice to save one of two children who were in a pair of burning buildings. She told me that she couldn't save either of them in the end and that the dream was very disturbing and she couldn't seem to shake it.

Then we turned on the Television.

This is a remaster and re-visitation of the original composition.
